It's simply a way of life!
To many the song "Peaceful Easy Feeling" is the classic hit by The Eagles, but to a few, they also remember the song with revised lyrics that was sung by the St. John Church band. This was one of Amber's favorite songs to sing at mass, which stemmed from the classic being one of her Uncle Todd's favorites.
The memories of singing this song with her, along with all the memories that we have of her is what gives us that "Peaceful Easy Feeling" now. Knowing the importance of memories for those left behind, we are proud to be advocating for the non-profit, Ally's Wish Inc.
Ally’s Wish, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in North Texas devoted to granting the last wish to young, terminally ill mothers with children. Inspired by the late Allyson Hendrickson (on video), Ally’s Wish provides a memory for the family that will last a lifetime. Wishes are granted in the form of services, gifts, transportation, lodging, or any other wish the mother may have, and a typical wish granted is approximately $5,000. Since inception, 114 wishes have been granted to families across North Texas and the U.S.
Heart-n-Soul hopes to be able to help grant wishes, along with finding other ways to advocate for this organization this year.
