Pitchin' for Presley
Miss Presley was born on September 29, 2012 a happy and healthy baby girl. With an infectious laugh and love for Disney princesses, puzzles, art and swimming; she is quite an amazing little girl with a true zest for life.
In December 2016, a few months after her 4th birthday, Presley had her first seizure while battling a common cold. Over the last 3 years, she has been on a multitude of medications to help control her seizures, except none have worked as they should. These medications have horrible side effects, and unfortunately, after a few months on medications the seizures would always come back worse than they were before. After countless hospital stays, the most recent being in June 2019, she was diagnosed with refractory frontal lobe epilepsy. In short, this means that her seizures are deemed uncontrollable by any medication. So we are now at the juncture where surgery is the only option to help her live her life seizure free.
Event was held Sept. 21, 2019 and was a great success - HnS collected $2,677 that was given the Diaz family. Presley and her family started the process on Sept. 22, but still have a long road ahead of them. Please keep them in your prayers.
